Abstract

In order to determine what kind of people are involved in accidents a study is made of the factors which can be used to forecast future accidents: vehicle characteristics (type and age of vehicles), driving characteristics (mileage, living in urban areas, speeding and overtaking), and personal characteristics (eye-sight, ability to do minor repairs, intelligence and mechanical comprehension, age).
