Abstract

The director of one of the biggest criminological institutes of Switzerland explains the research methods applied with the tracing of hit and run drivers. The various traces (paint, pieces of clothing, blood, hair, etc.) found during the on the spot investigations conducted by special brigades of the traffic police with the aid of adhesive tape are analysed in a central laboratory.
