Abstract

This document sets out in a structured form what are currently considered to be the necessary outcomes to 'fashion' the complete driver. The document specifies for each outcome a number of 'learning points' which will help in the achievement of that outcome. (Many others could be added.) The document is structured in such a way that it can draw attention to the differences in the components which comprise the driving task, and consequently, the way in which they should be taught.
