The drinking road user in Great Britain.

Abstract

The paper reviews recent trends in accidents and offences related to drinking and driving in Great Britain. Quantifying the problem in terms of blood/breath alcohol levels were possible. The involvement of different road users is considered. Epidemiological studies which give a new insight into drinking habits and characteristics of offenders are described.
