Abstract

Two studies were made to investigate the relationship between attitudes and behaviour on the one hand and accidents on the other. The hypotheses on the first study is that there is a positive relationship between driver's attitudes and behaviour. The hypothesis of the second study is that there is a negative relationship between driver's attitudes and accident risk. By comparing the results of these two studies, the relationship between behaviour and accidents can also be shown.
