Abstract
The report contains a summary of past research on driver behaviour. It may be subdivided into three parts; the first part: general overview of the usefulness of behavioural research to traffic and road safety programmes, the second, a concise review of research on observation techniques, driver selection procedures, driver training; the third, conclusions and recommendation.
