Driver behaviour at traffic signals.

Abstract

The behaviour of drivers at signal controlled intersections in the city of Calgary was examined before and after one week of police enforcement of violations of yellow and red traffic signals. During the one- week enforcement period violations decreased, but returned to their original values within a short time after.
