Driver education : a survey of teacher preparation and performance.

Abstract

This two-stage study was designed to assist in the establishment of effective certification requirements for driver education teachers. Results indicated that the in-car phase of driver education should be taught by highly motivated teachers, although the motivation level of the teacher appears to have little effect in the classroom.
