Abstract

An evaluation study was set up on the use and efficiency of all kind of road user behaviour programmes in the Federal Republic of Germany.The evaluation studies provided a wealth of new information reaching beyond the scope of driver improvement programmes. Driver improvement programmes can already be considered to make an important and irreplaceable contribution to road safety work.
