Abstract

The paper intends to present an overview of the concepts and developments that led to the Driver Improvement approaches in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands and to point out the main findings, possible arguments, and discussion points on the prospective of Driver Improvement measures in the future.
