Abstract

Driver licence disqualification is commonly used as a penalty for drink driving offenders, and evidence from previous studies has indicated that significant numbers of disqualified offenders continue to drive. This paper reviews a series of studies to explore the effects of license disqualification and the factors which determine whether or not an offender decides to drive while disqualified.
