Driver selection and training for human service agencies.

Abstract

The report describes procedures to use in choosing and training drivers for specialized transportation system. Beginning with an analysis of the tasks the typical driver of a transit vehicle will have to perform, the report then sets forth a series of factors which can be considered in choosing driver candidates. An extensive set of appendices covers currently available selection tools and training packages which might be utilized.
