Abstract

Research on driver stress can possibly be used to assist road design in three ways (1) identification of road design features associated with stress (2) development of a better understanding of the factors influencing driver behaviour and (3) reduction in accidents involving stress. The aim of this research is to identify the relationships between road design features, stress, and accidents or other forms of trans- port dysfunction.
