Driver-vehicle control performance.

This paper will address the broad subject of driver vehicle performance, with a brief review of recent information on causal factors in accidents, a commentary on vehicle factors, which includes some new information on the task performance approach to vehicle handling tests, and a discussion on driver factors, including a description of an advanced driver education curriculum that holds promise as an effective accident countermeasure.
