Abstract

Tests carried out on rural highways to measure eye movement and the skin conductivity of drivers are described. Details are given of the (1) test road selected; (2) the eye marker TV cameras and (3) the electrodermal response device. Results of the tests are presented and discussed as regards their practical applications, such as the positioning of traffic signs along the side of the road.
