Abstract

This contribution is concerned with a model of driver behaviour from a systems engineering point-of-view with emphasis on the behaviour in lane-keeping tasks. A mathematical model of the driver's environment is developed. Its consequences for the modelling of driver behaviour are discussed. Furthermore, an example of computer simulation results is presented and compared with experimental outcomes,
