Abstract

The complicated EEC regulations applying to the number of hours a person can drive a goods vehicle are examined and explained. These regulations contain the Common Market law on hours, records and tachographs. By 1981, the maximum continuous driving period without a break will be reduced to four hours, and the daily driving period reduced to 8 hours maximum.
