Abstract

The Allstate Foundation’s Driving Change online survey was conducted from January 9 to 31, by The Futures Company. A sample of 1,552 teens age 15-19 and 1,535 parents of teens nationally representative by gender, geographical location, household income, and ethnicity, according to the natural distribution of the U.S. census, were interviewed. The margin of error is +/- 1.8 percent, at a 95 percent confidence level. Questions with data for 2005 were from research conducted by The Allstate Foundation of teen drivers age 15-17 in 2005. Parents were not surveyed in 2005. Questions in blue font indicated new additions to teen questions and/or new questions since the 2005 research. (Author/publisher)
