Abstract

This paper will explore the responsibility of physicians to report conditions in their patients which may make it dangerous for them to drive; as well as the potential liability for physicians who grant their patients exemptions from wearing seat belts should these patients be later involved in automobile accidents where injury is inflicted which could have been prevented had they been wearing a seat belt.
