Abstract

This manual is intended to provide a recognition guide to driving licenses issued by individual countries in Europe so that law enforcement agencies in other European countries can check the licenses of drivers from other European countries. Several driving licenses are illustrated for each country to cover the range of types and designs currently in use. The countries covered are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
