Driving techniques. Attitude - a licence to drive or a privilege?

Abstract

The causes of bad driving behaviour are debated. It is suggested that driver training and the driving test provide only the bare minimum of training and that more attention should be paid to learner driver attitudes. Improved training and attitudes are considered necessary among both learner and experienced drivers. It is considered that possession of a driving licence should be seen as a privilege rather than a right.
