Abstract

Court judgments in the Federal Republic of Germany have made it clear that driver incapacity under the effects of drugs must be proven in every case. Legal limits which have been established per se in the case of alcohol have not been set for drugs. Against this background, two expert discussions were organized by the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt). The results of the discussions on Cannabis, Heroin, Cocaine and amphetamines are briefly reported.
