Abstract

Two major conceptual models of human performance are briefly outlined in terms of linear stages and resource allocation, With special reference to a description of aspects of driving skills. The measurement of human performance and the construction of adequate underlying performance models constitute the main problem in mapping the relationship between prescription drugs and driving performance.
