Abstract

If the maximum use is to be made of information obtained as a result of research into the relationship between drugs and driving performance, then it should be of such a form that it may be fitted in-to a framework of drug/driving effects within which meaningful comparisons may be made. Requirements for information are discussed under two headings: information required for legally based drugs and driving countermeasures, and that needed for medically administered information-based measures.
