The term "drunk driving" is a wrong characterisation for the criminal offences of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while impaired (DWI). The most majority of those charged with DUI are not drunk, but DUI is a serious of offence. It is a problem in a society that need careful attention, study and action as quickly as feasible. The first objective is to strengthen, the proseention's case by making sure that those DUI charges that are made are substantial and have been initiated by trained professionals.
