On the duability of desire line and land use models.

Abstract

The results of a study on the application of linear programming to the desire line and land use growth pattern for a hypothetical city with a 9 by 3 zonal definition of residential and work centres is discussed. Discussion is included ass marginal travel values and other measures of efficiency.
