Dummies evaluated for seat belt testing.

Abstract

Series of tests are described in which human volunteers and anthropomorphic dummies were subjected to various degrees of deceleration in order to evaluate restraint system performance. Test results show that dummies respond differently from humans. Correction factors are being sought.
