Abstract

The system here referred to as "Dynamic Leveling" presents one solution to a low power active suspension system and its control. In addition to a variable damping capability, the actuators are connected to a central hydraulic system to produce a lifting force. The actuators and the control strategy are designed to improve the vehicle performance with an emphasis of a low power consumption.
