Abstract

The paper is described as an attempt to produce an approach to general time-dependent transportation analysis based on the best understood transport problem where time-dependent effects are important, namely, the modal choice between private car and bus. The paper contains formulations, results and discussions of this study of the dynamic modal choice problem.
