Dynamic resonse of a belted dummy : a computer analysis of crash pulse variation.

Abstract

Variations in a vehicle crash pulse were studied using an occupant simulation computer model. To a basic crash pulse were added sine pulses of various shapes. The results show that when considering the effect of pulse variations, the most important parameter is the velocity content of the variation.
