Abstract

It was the purpose of this research effort to test and/or develop corrugated metal beam guardrail and anchorage systems that would be effective both in preventing penetration and in redirecting a 4500-lb vehicle impacting the metal beam guardrail at a speed of 60 mph and an approach angle of 25 deg.
