Abstract

Dynamic Traffic Management is a tool to influence directly the demand to and the offer of traffic and transport provisions, on the hand of actual and specific for the location traffic data. By recent technological developments in electronics, information technique and telematics acquisition and processing or real time data on a large scale is possible. Data on modifications in the traffic process are now available on the same moment as they are measured. Therefore offer and demand can be attuned more quickly and better.
