Abstract

13 dynamic tests with restrained cadavers were done with an impact speed of 50 km/h. The efficiency of safety belt systems is shown if one looks to the correlation between injury and survival chance. Young persons had a lesser severity index, a bigger survival chance and lesser thorax injuries.
