Abstract

The aim of the roadmap is to provide a deployment plan for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Europe, through which road operators and road authorities plans and objectives can be synchronized with other mobilitystakeholders plans and with the development of other transport modes. In 2008 and 2009, the EasyWay project carried out an exercise in two steps. In the first step, candidates for European Services where identified and described, and in the second step member states and Euro-regional co-operations made a selection and list of priority for European deployment. This process and its results are described in this paper.
