Abstract

The authors in a study of economic benefits accruing from the scenic enhancement of highways, concluded that there is a significant relationship between scenic highways and a reduction in injuries. A present value figure was derived that can provide a guideline for policy decisions on the need for scenic highways in New Jersey is discussed.
