Abstract

The number of persons in traffic accidents involving passenger cars classified by severity of accident, activity, age, sex, extent of disability, time in hospital and worktime lost from injuries is analysed, together with the direct cost of traffic accidents by cost elements and severity of accident and the direct cost to persons injured in accidents classified by age, sex and severity of injury.
