Abstract

Problems that handicapped persons might have regarding accessibility to vehicles are pointed out. For example, many parking stalls have not got an aisle for the transfer from an automobile to a wheelchair. Gratings and manhole covers are potential dangers. Inclined surfaces affect the mobility of people who are blind, deaf or who are in wheelchairs.
