Abstract

In 1961 General Motors started an investigation into the possibilities of electric motor and electronic engineering. The study resulted in a high-quality engine with controllable speed, which can operate as a synchronous motor if fed by direct or threefase current. The place in the vehicle and the working of this motor are described. See also PB 154 T
