Abstract
Considerations relating to the design of the system are given. Particulars of engine and wheel reduction, drive generator and control system are added. Steeringsystem is based on the idea of utilising the inherent characteristics of the brushless synchronous motor. All control systems utilise electronics instead of stepped switching to obtain increased flexibility and simplicity and higher performance of the control system.
