Abstract

The background and the efficiency of an integral traffic accident recording system are presented. The efficiency of such a system can be summarized in the following points: duplicate recordings can be avoided; the hitherto existing recording systems can be better used by more users; by coupling to sub-systems the basic registration remains small and a great flexibility will be guaranteed; and by including police and insurance-data a unique collection of data arises which enumerates shortcomings in traffic safety more completely than all previous systems. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD abstract no 219711.
