Abstract

The model has been devised to determine the optimum of a section of a public transport network. The number of people transported per unit of route length is used as a criterion for optimalization. The model supplies data concerning the expected number of passengers on the net section tested, as well as the number of passengers on each route of the network in case that a particular route would be constructed.
