Abstract

Binary calibration estimates coefficients in a traffic model such that an optimal fit is obtained from observation data of different types. This paper discusses the experience gained in its use. The agreement between model results and observed data is shown to be greatly improved. That this can be achieved with only slight changes in the generation and distribution aspects of the model is important.
