Abstract
Journey times play an improtant role in transport studies. The selection of the destination, the transport mode and the itinerary are determined by the journey times in the selection alternatives. This shows that journey times are an improtant parameter in the transport models by which traffic flows are calculated. Furthermore estimations of journey times in a transport system are needed for all kind of consequences on which transport planning is evaluated.
