Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of binder constituents upon its temperature susceptibility as evaluated by rutting resistance of flexible asphaltic concrete pavements. A research program was designed to examine the use of three different types of local asphalt cement secured from different refineries. These binders are used to design three different hot asphaltic concrete mixes having the same aggregate types and gradation. (A)
