Abstract

In 1970-1971 an attempt was made in Copenhagen by a series of observations of cars with children passengers to test the effectiveness of a minor campaign for placing children in the back seat of private cars. The observations included the number of adults as well their sex and placing. The research was carried out as a before and after study and results indicate that the campaign was fairly successful.
