Abstract

Four aspects of the parking problem in a large metropolitan area are reported: commuter parking, parking at underground stations, kiss-and-rode and taxi stand facilities, and parking in the town centre. Emphasis is placed on the need for integrating parking, parking policies with transportation and land development policies.
