Abstract

This is a research into the number of accidents and stops on road crossings where one has to stop. The number of accidents decreased when rumble strips where installed as a warning sign. The number of full stops increased substantially. The figures show a 10 percent decreased in speed by the cars coming close to a obligatory stop and a far greater increase in full stops.
