Abstract

Result achieved in a short series of tests devoted to a comparison of drag, lift and pitching moment on three related car models when subjected in turn to 1) a nominally uniform velocity profile and 2) a profile with a significant proportion of nearly uniform shear is described. The result were obtained for three different wind speeds, at yaw angles varying up to 20 degrees.
