Abstract

The method of statistical analysis is described and the results are presented separately for pedestrians as well as total accidents in addition to the overall totals. The implications of findings are discussed with special reference to accidents involving pedestrians and those on the major roads. An estimate is made of the costs implied by the changed pattern of accidents.
