Abstract

Data collected for 900 on-scene, in depth investigations of motorcycle accidents show a powerful benefit of contemporary protection systems. Injuries to the head and neck can be reduced by use of any type of safety helmet. Current motorcycle accident research shows that the contemporary motorcycle rider protective equipment can provide an extremely high level of injury prevention.
